Poster for Workshop 3! Montage It!

You can create the world
You can change the world

Work shop1 ! Poster!

I used photoshop to dig out the model I make and put them in front of the real scene of the building to make the comparasion between them.

Workshop 1! Third in class exercise and Third take home exercies

I use different materials for seperating the walls and the ground and the base. But apparently the color for two material are close, so the purpose to seperate them is hardly achieved. And the whold project is so big, the connection between different level and building are less consideration which make the building is not perfectly connected. And the material I use for the base is too wide, make the base disconnect to the upper floors.

Work shop1! Second take home task

For the base, I make it construct by layers which to represent the changing in height and slope.

Workshop 1! Second in class work

Still, rough edges. For the first one, the required shape is at another layer to the surface. It shows the concept of depth. Second one is that the required shape is constructed by composition of two irregular shapes.

Workshop 1! First take home exercise

First time used the balsa wood, I had not consider the use different width to indicate the width of different parts of the building. And again, no sandy paper. So the edges are not smooth.

Workshop 1 Model It! First in class work

First in class work, the edge is rough. I did not use the sandy paper to scratch the edge and no accurate measuring when drawing the plans. But the photoes are nice from different angles.

Flipbook ! Workshop 2

This flipbook is the circulation inside my building. It can split into two parts. The first part is going from the uppest level to the first one. They are all edited by photoshop, adding color for the floor walls and background to indicate the material I use. The second part is I feel the flipbook loss the feeling of continuity, So instead of first part, I make the second part all stay the place they are but just the height is decreasing.

Poster for Workshop 2! Draw it!

The poster is completely hand sketch. I use the perspective drawing, and two elevation with changes in their size to make it feel like three nearby houses. And the linkage between these three- trees also vary in their size to indicate the distance. For the perspective drawing, the shadow is the focus I concentrate on. And other two are more focus on the random pencil rendering.
